Amigurumi Sittin’ Kitten. The devil’s in the details.
I’m working on a cute kitten design that also stands up on it’s own. What was the hardest part? Creating a cute little face. I don’t know how many times I added and removed the smile. Crazy! I think the head should be a little but fuller (one more row or more stuffing maybe?). I’ll try to smooth out the rough edges for my next version. One thing I love about crochet – it’s like a 3D puzzle.
I’m Callie D, with with brown tabby kitty under a leopard throw (aka Gina Marie, my little “princess” lol who came to me at 6 weeks old – she’s now about 10 and still just as cuddly lol. I also have another, a blue eyed Ragdoll named Max who was my brothers cat. He and Gina are quite a handful when I’m working with yarn, but hey, that’s the joy of kitties lol.
Anyway, I have a lot of different pins, and hope to get some French beaded roses posted once I get back into the swing of making them! Otherwise, it’s a collection of various ones, hope you like them!
Regards, Deb
Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for your feedback. I’ll let you know when I try this again (and write it down). I’d love to follow you on Pinterest, but I wasn’t sure which Callie was you. I’m at https://www.pinterest.com/7robotsinc/
Have a great week,
Suzy
Hello! I love your sitting kitten very much. I don’t think you need to change your base pattern at all. You might want to suggest that the crafter add a little rhinestone charm/button to the red collar to “jazz” the kitty up, but I think she’s a little princess! Please let me know when you have the pattern ready. I think I can work out some color variations to make kitty into a variety of breeds which I’ll send back to you! Have a great day!
