Hello Kitty Crocheted by Suzy Dias
I wanted to make a gift for one of my students who is incredibly sweet. I teach English as a second language in Paris, mostly to adults, and I have met some of the kindest people. For our last class she gave me a lovely tea themed gift, complete with tea in a lovely tin and a beautiful tea cup that I use every day. Thank you Lisa!
I wanted to give her something handmade, but wasn’t sure what. Then I thought of crocheting something for her young daughter. With the help of my daughter (who at 6 is an expert in toys) we decided on a gorgeous FREE Hello Kitty pattern on Ravelry by Ella. D Design (click here).
Instead of adding a bow, I created a removable bunny hat. And voilà! Our cute little kitty cat is transformed into a bunny. Without further ado, here it is the finished toy…
