See how Notre Dame looks after the fire
I walked by Notre Dame on April 18th, three days after the tragic fire. It was a sombre time, but I was also relieved to see that the Cathedral (construction was begun in 1160) still looked spectacular! It was about 8:00 am, so there weren’t too many people around (relatively speaking) and the sun was shining. I felt reassured that Our Lady will be repaired and restored.
