Notre Dame 2 weeks before the devastating fire. The night of the fire Church Bells rang out across France.

I took this photo 2 weeks before the terrible fire that could have destroyed this historic building that is so much a part of French history. You can see the spire and the roof still in place.

I’m posting this today, the day of the fire (4/15/19) as I hear church bells ringing. All across France, churches at this moment and ringing their bells in honor of Notre Dame and the firefighters working to save her. A very contemplative moment.
