Sprites Series by Miguel Guerra

Sprites are mythical or supernatural creatures in many European myths. They are often etherial fairy-like creatures. They’re known to be mischievous and playful, and are often associated with nature and the elements. I created these quite a few years ago, but was going through my sketchbook and to my surprise, I still liked the way these illustrations looked. I hope you enjoy them too.

These Sprites came from mashing together all of the myths & folklore swimming around in my mind. I came up with a few: Triumph, Thoughts, Rejuvenation, Chance, Charity, Daydreaming, Obsession and Opposites.
