Comic Cover Evolution by Miguel Guerra

How is CSP for Comic Book Covers?

Well, the proof is in the pudding, as Miguel de Cervantes once said. I’ve used Clip Studio Paint before, but never for a really intense illustration. I’ve used PhotoShop in the past, but it’s too expensive now and it seems outdated. Like many, I’ve tried a few alternative programs and CSP delivers! Here’s a quick look at comic cover process, condensed into a few seconds.  I had some nervous anxiety, which normally happens before I tackle something new, but I’d recommend CSP to anyone!

Sample Art

I’m still old school and enjoy sketching out my art with a pencil and paper. Once that’s done, I scan it in and, in this case, used CSP.

For this little animation, I used Capcut.
