I wanted to create a sweet little toy that would make kids and adults alike say, “Awwww!” It took longer than I thought to create a pattern that I was happy with. As I showed each version to my daughter, if her face didn’t light up, I unraveled the yarn and started again. With this design not only did her eyes twinkle, but a big smile brightened her face and I heard the long awaited, “Awwww!”
