British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle created Sherlock Holmes, a brilliant London-based detective who uses his precise logic and shrewd observations to solve cases. Holmes made his debut in 1887.

Watson, with the exception of two narrated by Holmes himself and two more written in the third person.
