Materials
• Height: 6 cm
• Hook: 3 mm
• Yarn weight: light (US), DK (UK), or Light Worsted (any yarn that works with a 3 mm hook)
• Stuffing
• Felt: black
• Embroidery floss: black
• Yarn needle
• Black thread and a Sewing needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations: R – Round, MR – magic ring, ST/STS – stitch/stitches, SC – single crochet, INC – 2 single crochets (SC) in the same stitch, INVDEC – invisible decrease, the stitch count appears in parentheses “()” at the end of each round.

HEAD (white)
R1. MR, SC 6 (6)
R2. INC around (12)
R3. INC, SC 1 around (18)
R4. INC, SC 2 around (24)
R5. INC, SC 3 around (30)
R6. INC, SC 4 around (36)
R7-12. SC around (36)
R13. INVDEC, SC 4 around (30)
R14. INVDEC, SC 3 around (24)
R15. INVDEC, SC 2 around (18)
– Start to add stuffing
R16. INVDEC, SC 1 around (12)
– Add more stuffing if needed to get a good round shape.
R17. INVDEC around (6)
– F/O and hide tail

EYES
I used this image as a guide on how to create the eyes (click to enlarge). You can add any type of eyes you like.
1. Trace one eye (or draw it) onto a piece of paper.

2. Use the paper as a template and trace it onto black felt. Cut two eyes out of the felt.

3. Place the eyes where you’d like to see them on the head. Using black thread and a sewing needle, sew the eyes in place.

MOUTH and NOSE

1. Using black embroidery floss, Create a smile that is as wide as his eyes.
2. Add random straight stitches across the smile.

3. Add two stitches like this / \ to create the nose.
4. Tie off, hide all of your ends inside the head and cut any loose ends.

Et voilà! You’re all done.
